How to Split Deductions
If indicated on backup Confido with automatically split your line item deduction. If you need to make additional splits or complete a new one follow these steps:
- Navigate the deduction you want to split
- Click Split on the upper right hand corner of the deduction box
- A new line will be created indicated by a letter following the line number (ex. 50 A)
- You can view split deductions by clicking the drop down arrow on the deduction
- The splits will show as individual lines in the ledger posting
